Telegram bot for expense tracking
Telegram is a full client here, not a notification channel. An expense is a message, statistics come back as a reply, and a reminder arrives with a "Charged" button.
Connecting the bot
Linking takes under a minute and never asks you to hand the bot your site password.
- Confirm your email address and open Integrations in your account.
- Press "Connect Telegram" — the service creates a one-time link.
- Follow it: the code lives for 15 minutes and is burned after first use.
- The bot confirms your workspace and suggests a test phrase.
What the bot understands
Write phrases the way that suits you. Mixed Russian and English input is parsed the same way.
- "sape 500" — an expense of 500, Sape.ru, category "Links", dated today.
- "hosting 799 yesterday" — the date moves back a day.
- "proxy 1200 project beta" — the expense is attached to a project.
- "sprinthost 499 every month on the 10th" — a recurring payment is created.
- "how much did I spend in July" — the total, top categories and the change against last month.
Commands

Reliability and privacy
The bot is built so that a retry or a failure on Telegram's side never corrupts your data.
- The webhook is HTTPS only and verifies a secret header.
- Re-delivering the same update never creates a duplicate record.
- One Telegram account links to exactly one service account.
- Your password, email address and payment details are never sent to the external AI.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own bot?
No. A single bot serves every user of the site. Your own token is only needed if you are the owner of the installation and are deploying the service yourself.
What if I send a phrase with no amount?
No record is created. The bot asks exactly one clarifying question — "What was the amount?" — and does not interrogate you about the remaining fields.
Can I disconnect Telegram?
Yes, with one button in Integrations. Your expense data stays in your account.
Will reminders arrive at night?
No. Quiet hours follow your own time zone; by default nothing is sent between 22:00 and 09:00.
